TLAP (Truck Logistics & Autonomy Planner) is a truck navigation app designed for commercial vehicle operators. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Google Sign-In: TLAP uses Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in, we receive and store your Google account ID, email address, display name, and profile photo URL. This information is used solely to identify your account and manage your subscription.
Location Data: TLAP accesses your device's GPS location to provide real-time turn-by-turn navigation. Location data is used only during active navigation sessions to determine your position on the route, calculate upcoming maneuvers, and detect arrival at stops.
Trip Data: Trip plans, waypoints, vehicle profiles, and route preferences you enter are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not transmitted to or stored on any external server.
Subscription Data: Your subscription status, trial usage count, and payment verification tokens are stored on our server and associated with your account. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play — we do not collect or store credit card numbers or payment details.
Feedback Data: When you submit feedback through the app, your message, any attached screenshots, and automatically collected debug information (device model, app version, truck profile, trip state, GPS coordinates) are sent to our server and forwarded via email to our support team. Your email address is only collected if you choose to provide it for follow-up. Feedback data is not shared with third parties.
Authentication: Your Google account information is used to create and maintain your TLAP account, verify your identity, and manage your subscription status.
Navigation: Your GPS coordinates are sent to our backend server, which forwards them to third-party routing services (TomTom and HERE) to calculate truck-legal routes. Only geographic coordinates are transmitted — no personal identifiers are included in these requests.
Map Display: Map tiles are loaded from Mapbox to display the route on screen. Mapbox receives your viewport coordinates to serve the relevant map area.
Route Optimization: When you optimize a route, your waypoints and vehicle dimensions (height, weight, length) are sent to TomTom and HERE through our server to calculate routes that comply with truck restrictions.
Feedback: Feedback submissions are emailed to our development team to improve the app. Route problem reports may be used to improve routing intelligence for all drivers. No feedback data is sold or shared with advertisers.
TLAP uses the following third-party services:

Mapbox — Map tile rendering. Mapbox receives viewport coordinates for map display. Mapbox Privacy Policy
Resend — Transactional email delivery for feedback submissions. Resend processes feedback emails on our behalf. Resend Privacy Policy
No personal information is shared with any of these services beyond what is described above.
Trip plans, vehicle profiles, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Your account information (email, display name, subscription status) is stored on our server hosted on Render. Payment data is handled by Google Play and is not stored on our servers.
You can delete your account at any time from within the app under Account Settings, or by visiting tlap.app/delete-account. When you delete your account, all data associated with it (account info, subscription records, trial usage) is permanently removed from our servers. Locally stored data on your device is deleted when you uninstall the app.
TLAP does not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes.
TLAP is designed for commercial truck drivers and is not intended for use by children under the age of 18.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
